Delivery Pricing Update — Effective Immediately

Our nationwide delivery charge is now €12.99.
This change reflects rising operational costs across cold-chain logistics, fuel, and packaging. While many others have increased their meat prices, we’ve held ours firm. This small adjustment helps ensure Butcher.ie remains sustainable — without compromising the quality or consistency of the service you rely on.

Rising Industry Costs at a Glance:

  • Factory beef prices have increased by 15–20% in the last 6 months

  • CSO producer prices for meat products are up 4–7% year-on-year

  • Base beef quotes have jumped from approx. €6.60/kg to €7.50/kg

  • In some categories, prices have risen up to 50% over the past year

We’ve chosen not to pass these increases onto you through product pricing. Instead, we’re introducing a clear and honest delivery fee to reflect the true cost of handling and logistics.

What stays the same:

  • Unchanged product prices on steaks, BBQ boxes and premium cuts

  • Strict cold-chain handling, whether via courier or our new van fleet

  • Refrigerated van delivery now available across Dublin and Meath

  • Nationwide tracked delivery continues as normal elsewhere
