Bavette Steak is also known as Flank Steak or Skirt Steak or ‘bib’ steak in French is a great value cut, highly flavoured flat cut that has been largely forgotten as supermarkets took over from traditional butchers. It is perfect for frying to deliver the characteristic flavour of our grass-fed Irish beef. Very thinly cut by our master butcher, Bavette Steaks are best suited to being marinated first if frying and then serving rare. Alternatively, cut into strips and make it the centre of a stir-fry or tacos.
Our free-range Bavette steak comes from Irish farms and is 100% grass-fed which means they are high in Omega 3 and full of vitamins.
