Asado are commonly known as ‘Short Ribs’ and are a popular cut of beef. Asado ribs are larger and usually more tender and meatier than their pork counterpart, pork spare ribs. Asado are cut from the rib and plate primals and a small corner of the square-cut chuck.
These are a popular type of rib to cook anytime of the year. It is so nice to be able to buy an affordable piece of meat, cook it for a long time and get amazing flavour out of it. Flavourful Asado ribs are tender and delicious in the slow cooker.
Our grass-fed Asado Ribs come from beef reared on Irish farms and are 100% grass-fed which means they are high in Omega 3 and full of vitamins.
