Pork Butt


Our free-range pork butt has been hand-prepared by our master butchers, making this the perfect, slow-cooked roast. With an ample covering of fat for real depth of flavour and tenderness. Pork butt and pork shoulder are frequently confused, both come from the shoulder of the pig, but pork butt is higher on the foreleg, while pork shoulder is farther down. Pork butt has more fat marbling throughout the meat and a more uniform shape, it’s the best cut for stewing and braising as well as for making fall-apart-tender pulled pork. All our free-range pork is sourced from Irish farms with the highest standards of animal welfare.
